Year of the Historical: May Reviews

Hi there! It’s that time again – Year of the Historical. Hope everyone had a lovely month of historical reading. I…once again I didn’t get one read. I’ve proven myself a bad challenge hostess and am seriously slacking in this event. I still have hopes of redeeming my historical reading though, and I’ll start by bringing one with me to BEA this week.

So how about you? How did your month of historical reading go?

Below you’ll find a Mr. Linky Widget. Simply type in your name and/or blog name and book title (where it says “Your Name:”) and the link to your specific Year of the Historical March review (Please make sure it is the direct link to your post and not simply your site’s home page.). And yes, if you have more than one, just enter each separately. You do not have to leave a comment after submitting your review – that’s just an automatic part of the widget, but you’re certainly welcome to comment if you’d like.

If you have any questions, just drop them in the comments section. Thank you!

I haven’t read a historical romance in what feels like ages. Then again, I haven’t really felt in the mood :) That will shortly change as I took a leap of faith (for the person who borrows the vast majority of her books from the library this is one big leap) and have ordered…and now the name completely eludes me…*stamps foot* I loathe my memory. Anyway, I have a book coming! And I think Tempt Me At Twilight (Lisa Klepyas) is at the top of my library hold list, so next month is looking promising *grin*

The linky wasn’t available and I’m very late posting this May review. I’ve been sick a lot (actually in the hospital now)! Anyway, here’s the link to my May historical: http://thetruebookaddict.blogspot.com/2010/05/book-review-anastasias-secret-by.html

Michelle, apologies for the widget just…going away. I suppose they expire? I wasn’t aware that they might do so.

Michelle, I figured out why the widgets have been disappearing – a major duh on MY part, so apologies! I took the liberty of entering your review for you. Hope that’s OK. :)
