Cover Spotlight: Emma and the Vampires

It’s that time again! To update the Blogosphere on the next up-and-coming classic-turned-monster-mash…mash. This time it’s Emma and the Vampires. We’ve already seen Emma and the Werewolves, by a different author. Will Emma and the Zombies be next? Emma and the Chupacabre? Nothing would surprise me anymore. I think the shock value of these kinds of reads is wearing off. But you know what? I actually really like this cover. Shocker.

There’s no blurb yet, but then the title probably details enough for us at this point anyway. The tiny tagline says “A Jane Austen Undead Novel”. Not sure what this means – could it mean the start of a series? Releases August 1, 2010.

I’m actually waiting to see a blurb for this one, but since they’re using Jane Austen’s name on the cover, it’s not exactly encouraging.

I love the idea of Nessie being the feature creature! :D

Ugh. Spare me. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was kind of lame enough, now it’s just getting old and tired. :(
